CFP® WEALTH ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – PRETORIA EAST


A prominent financial services provider is looking for an experienced CFP® WEALTH ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to join their dynamic Wealth Management and Financial Planning Team in Pretoria East. 

This is a permanent position which offers a market related salary.  

Qualifications & Experience: 


  • Minimum matric, with a tertiary qualification in business administration, finance, financial administration and/or related disciplines essential.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ applicable working experience in a financial administrative role. 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the financial services and wealth management environment. (Banking, wealth management and/or insurance.)

  • Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of FAIS, FICA POPIA and the regulatory requirements of the FSCA, and the impact the aforementioned legislative disciplines have on the financial services and wealth management industries.

  • Fully competent in the MS Office programme with excellent and highly developed MS Excel skill and capabilities are core requirements to the role.

  • Experience with LISP platforms (Linked Investment Service Providers) highly advantageous.

  • Proven experience in the successful administrative deliverables within a financial and wealth management environment, professionally dealing with both internal and external clients.

  • Meticulous and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail in both written and oral correspondence and the compiling of company documentation and reports.

  • The ability to successfully work under pressure.

  • Highly analytical with the ability to gather financial detail, prepare investment/insurance comparisons and support the CFP® in preparing for FSCA and compliance audits.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in customer care and internal admin.

  • The proven ability and the natural potential to learn and acquire new skills on an ongoing basis.

  • Tenacious and driven.

  • Fully bi-lingual in English and Afrikaans: speak read and write.

  • Compliant with well-developed change-management abilities.

  • Trustworthy and ethical with a strong sense of accountability, with the ability to manage highly confidential portfolios of information.

  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
